“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”
– Acts 2:17
This verse says God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. That has a double purpose. On the believer, or repented person, there is the spirit of courage, uncompromising commitment, and defiance in the face of evil. People will speak of truth and change to come if they are young. All young people will see visions of a just world where integrity is valued above professionalism or success. If they are old, they will dream of the good principles that have passed: morality, justice, responsibility, integrity: a man’s word being his bond.
Could Charlie Kirk’s death be a signal that the last days have come? I say a resounding, “Yes!” All evil, including leftists, is the same. They are from one source: Satan, the prince of darkness. They do their evil deeds disguised as noble, and moral, and that they’re doing it for the ‘good of mankind.’ But they are all like their maker, Satan, that is ‘seeking whom he may devour’ (1 Peter 5:8).
What is the reason God lets evil go unchecked for so long? Maybe letting people come to the natural conclusion that immorality and unnatural behavior only bring destruction, despair, anger, bitterness, and death? When those abominable folks see their lives in ruin, instead of repentance, they turn to hate, bitterness, and destruction of those that have peace, love, and purpose. It seems like the more they sink into hopelessness, the more they blame God and want to steal, kill, and destroy those who have done nothing to them but pray for their salvation.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
– John 10:10
As Christians, we have been taught to keep silent, don’t cause a fuss, just ignore what is not right. Do not resist, protest, or fight. We are so afraid of conflict that we will not even confront. Therefore, evil seems to win. People get abused. immoral acts are not challenged. Children are sexually abused. Crime is rampant, and judicial authority makes a mockery of the laws of the land. Thank God this is not Nazi Germany in 1938. I doubt most Christians would dare resist Hitler. Tell me, is allowing a young child to be sexually mutilated, or transitioned, medically any different from the horrible ‘science experiments’ that Dr. Josef Mengele did on Jewish children?
Now it seems, to me, that Satan went too far, as he always does. He felt that he could put fear and shame into the hearts and minds of Christians keeping them silent and hiding in the shadows. Satan believes that seeing a righteous man murdered would cause us to tremble, plead for mercy, cave to all the gut-wrenching insanity of his evil. For some it may have worked, but for others it has empowered them. Seeing the lifeblood of Charlie Kirk flow out of his body made many believe that there is something greater than life – life with purpose, life with God, to be the outspoken voice of Jesus proclaiming that death and the grave no longer hold fear over us.
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
– 1 Corinthains 15:55
Satan, as with all true martyrs, you failed again. We will rise from our tears and fears and destroy your works and the demons you inspire. Beware Satan, these are the last days, and God will pour out His Spirit of Justice on you and yours.
