Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound smoked link sausage
  • 1 medium to large head of cabbage
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

 

Instructions
  • Melt butter over medium heat in a cast iron skillet.
  • Cut sausage into ¼-inch thick round slices.
  • Shred your cabbage.
  • Sauté sausage in your skillet for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add shredded cabbage, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Sauté for additional 5 minutes.
