We must look at ourselves as Christian Americans.  After 250 years of struggle, few people really remember or have been taught the history of our nation.  The founding fathers were not perfect men at all.  Yet they, with their imperfection, sought God to lead them!  And He did!  These were not all farmers, blacksmiths, and sailors.  Many were brilliant-minded, and all were courageous men willing to die for their beliefs and freedom.  Many rich lost their wealth.  Many more lost their lives.

So 250 years later, the question is still relevant.  What is freedom worth: wars and conflicts, rows and rows of white crosses in Virginia at Arlington National Cemetery, and the continuous and solemn guarding of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier?

Today, there are maybe millions of multicolored, really stupid self-serving idiots that seek to destroy our history, our heroes, and our heritage.  The spirit of sacrifice is totally foreign to them.  Thank God they do not represent all of us.  We remember the commitment to freedom, the cost, the sacrifice to something bigger than ourselves.

We must commit to the Spirit of America: “Under God” and “In God we Trust.”  Under God means that we see everything with this concept in mind.  Whatever God designs and declares through Scripture is established as truth.  And we praise the God who made us, who loves us, and has made us, who gave us the land as long as we recognize the God we trusted in the beginning.
