Nana uses our fresh basil to make homemade pesto. The pesto is added to many dishes for a deeper flavor including her spaghetti squash (microwaved or baked), buttered noodles, and zucchini spirals. It is especially good when she spreads it on  Aunt Alisa’s French bread right before toasting it or mixes it into her homemade Alfredo sauce.
