Nana uses our fresh basil to make homemade pesto. The pesto is used for many dishes including pesto flavored spaghetti squash, noodles, zucchini spirals, & bread. She even likes mixing it into her homemade Alfredo sauce.

  • 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • 2 cups fresh basil
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Using a food processor pulse your garlic until finely minced.
  • Add basil, olive oil, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  • Pulse again until basil is coarsely chopped.
