YUM!! Does it seem overwhelming to turn fresh pork chops into a mouthwatering main dish? Try this simple and delicious recipe on any weekday, and your whole family will thank you.  If you’d rather grill outside, try Nana’s Pork Fillet Mignon.  Nana uses a cheap cut of meat and fancies it up to look like fillet mignon.

 

Ingredients
  • *5 pork chops
  • ½ stick butter (4 tablespoons)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup corn flake crumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

*Nana uses the less expensive cuts. They aren’t as dry when cooked.

 

Instructions
  • Trim fat and bones from pork chops.
  • Line a pan, with one-inch sides, with foil. Place melted butter in pan.
  • Mix eggs and milk.
  • In another bowl, combine corn flake crumbs and cheese.
  • Salt and pepper pork chops. Dip them in egg and milk mixture then dredge pork chops in corn flake and cheese mixture. Place in the pan with melted butter.
  • Bake in a preheated 350-degree Fahrenheit oven for 20-30 minutes until chops are done and breading is crunchy.
